Street parking is available but can get occupied quickly during peak hours. Numerous paid car parks are scattered around the centre.
Weiden has a temperate climate. Summer (June-August) is the best time to visit, with numerous city and regional festivals. Christmas markets in December are a favourite among locals and visitors alike.
