Driving in Selangor

Basic Rules and Speed Limits

• Drive on the left side of the road, unlike the UK where driving is on the right.
• An international driving permit alongside your UK driver's license will be required.
• The general speed limit in towns is 50km/h, on country roads 90km/h, and on highways it's 110km/h.
• Seat belts are mandatory for all passengers, and child safety seats for children under the age of four.
