Driving and Traffic
Driving in Uruguay is on the right-hand side of the road, opposite to the UK. Speed limits are generally 45km/h in urban areas and up to 90km/h on national routes. Remember that seatbelts are obligatory and using mobile phones while driving is not allowed.
