Renting a Car at Lombok International Airport
Though the airport is smaller compared to some, it hosts a variety of international and local car rental services. Car rental desks are conveniently located in the arrivals terminal. It's beneficial to book your rental car ahead of your flight to ensure availability and negotiate the best price. Additionally, renting a car allows you to take advantage of the freedom and flexibility to explore Lombok at your own pace.

- Compact cars are recommended for short distance travel and small families, while SUVs are better suited to tackling hillier terrain and large groups.
- Many rental cars in Indonesia are manual transmission. If you're only comfortable driving automatics, make sure to specify this at the time of booking.
Driving to Your Destination
