While in El Nido, having your private vehicle, such as a rented car, adds to the convenience, especially when you want to explore beyond the town. Please be aware, unlike in the UK, traffic drives on the right-hand side in the Philippines.

While some of El Nido's beaches such as Marimegmeg Beach are easily accessible by car, others like Seven Commandos Beach can only be reached by boat.

The nearest airport to El Nido is the El Nido Airport, just a short drive from the town. There's also a port that services boat trips to and from Coron and Port Barton.
