Driving up the winding Rue des Vieilles Boucheries will take you to the statue of Louis Pasteur, Dole’s famous son, where you can savour panoramic views of the city.
The region around Dole is famous for its scenic driving routes. Take the route to Arbois, a town renowned for its vineyards. It’s roughly an hour-long drive, but you can stop in between at waterfalls, fortresses and charming villages.
